“The Break-Up Variety Hour” is a bold, genre-defying concept album and one-woman show by indie pop artist Ariana and the Rose that blends music, theater, and immersive storytelling into a cathartic celebration of heartbreak and healing. Premiering to a sold-out audience at Joe’s Pub in New York City, the show quickly gained momentum, launching a 10-date U.S. headline tour and earning a coveted spot in the Orlando Fringe Festival.
Set in a glittery, cabaret-style universe, the production moves through the emotional stages of a breakup with humor, heart, and theatrical flair. Mixing synth-pop anthems, poignant monologues, and visual spectacle, Ariana transforms personal loss into collective liberation. More than just a breakup story, the show is a reclamation of self, filled with dancefloor catharsis, sharp wit, and raw vulnerability. With its unique blend of live performance and pop narrative, “The Break-Up Variety Hour” sets the stage for the upcoming release of the concept album, establishing Ariana and the Rose as a singular voice in both the music and theater worlds. The show is back at Joe's Pub to celebrate the album’s Oct 10th release.
